    Afternoon peeps!

Don't really feel like being in work after such a productive weekend! Wanted to keep it going really but we have to earn pennies somehow.

    This is me:
    - Checked bank, all DD's gone now, the rest is food and fuel!
    - Hand delivered paperwork to solicitors, saves a stamp
    - Left purse at work while doing the above walk
    - E-mailed solicitor ref Deed of Trust to protect OH's savings he's putting into the house deposit, not MS as it's costing an extra £100+VAT but makes me feel better that his family won't think I'm a gold digger!
    - Breakfast was a cheap and filling porridge pot
    - Made a lovely packed lunch last night for today
    - Discuss with OH a meal plan for when we move in together, what he likes, what he doesn't like, what he is able to cook :rotfl:
    - No spend day, nothing needed!
    - Saving a small amount on fuel as DD is skiing, don't need to pick her up
    - Tea will be something cobbled together from stores
    - Empty airer and perhaps put another load on as DB3 will be back from a few days off
    - HW on for a short time, enough to run a relaxing bath
    - Home made mani/pedi this evening!
    - Sparkle

    Jx
Nothing to report as yet...give me a minute...!

    Debt-free and Proud!
Hi everyone, have been lurking but thought I'd join in and say hello hope you don't mind :D

    So today I have:

Been for a very chilly 5 mile run (does the cold make you burn more calories?)

Checked online banking and moved money around so 'found' £50 and paid it off of CC :T

    Washed car by hand

Dried a load of washing on the line

Renewed car ins and haggled to get the cheapest deal I could find cheaper

B/L/D will all be from stores

Paid cheque into bank (used 30 min free parking so quick dash in and out no money spent)

    NSD

Just about to do some ironing

    Bath and early night later

    Afternoon/evening all!
I'm on holidays for the next two weeks (teacher) so I actually have some time to do some DFWing.

    Today's little list...
    • All meals from stores
    • Worked a half day doing extra tuition for the brightest kids at school and will get paid an extra £100 or so for doing it :)
    • Instead of getting a Subway as I wanted to came home and had a load of fruit and some houmous for lunch - all needed using up
    • Stuck to diet so far today
    • Took dog for a really long walk along the river and water park for some fresh air and free exercise
    • Looked at some social but cheap things to do over the next few months with meetup and Spice groups
    • Had a nice catch up chat and gossip with friend
    • Bought a few treats and drinks for kids at school but kept the receipt to claim the money back
    • Checked bank - no surprises
    • Reading library book tonight to finish it off
Lulabelle - I'm exactly the same after boozing, feel down for a day or two. I've cut right down over the last few months and don't get it as badly. Its horrible though isn't it?:(

Savvy Shopper! I've been Money Tipped!
    Hello

Karb - What did the dental work set you back?
Foxgloves - Sorry you still arent great, and that your poor tomato plants died. Sad this weather.
Lulabelle - I know how that felt. I gave up a decent career in 2011 post redundancy to have a go at my dream. Its hard work, and money is still uncertain, but overall I do not miss working in a large corporate, the politics, the never ending projects that are canned because someone up there doesnt want to do them after you've put in all the work, and the 9-5 knowing what each day would bring. So, I'd say give it some serious thought on what your new thing might be, and believe it can happen.

Me today. Some spendyness as it was a day out, but not too bad. The main thing I am massively pleased about today is I rang up LV and paid off the 3 payments that had built up due to the bank problem. Its a large amount £276 all in one month, but hopefully we will be able to go forward from next month paying 1 installment per month as per the plan!

Meals from stores, tonight is chicken thighs, jacket potatoes and salad.

My business had a good day (horray!) after a rubbish weekends takings I am pretty glad I can tell you.

Think thats it from me. It will be a tight month, so lots of store cupboard meals, and looking for more ways to find a £ here and there.
