I am looking for somewhere that offers 4D pregnancy scans but nothing over £150-£160.
But for that I would idealy want a 5-10 min dvd & a cd with all the photos on & at least a couple of colour photos.
I have been searching net for 3 days solid & not actualy getting anywhere, that has good reviews or that you dont need a mortgage for!!
Or that doesn't fill their packages with weight charts, growth charts, well being charts etc retc etc.
Would any of you guys be able to recommend anywhere please?
If you could give name/area or a link I would be greatful.
.quiet open to areas-
Anywhere from Exeter up toTaunton, over to Minehead & down to Barnstable-Bude.Do not want to go all way up to Bristol
OR
from Exeter down to Weymouth up to Shaftesbury along to Yeovil.
Yeovil hsp do them but do not offer a dvd disk of the footage.:(
OR
In south East London [ not central-north ]
down into Kent as far as Tonbridge
Thanks everyone,much appreciated:)

It depends where you are based. When I was pregnant with my first I had a 4D scan done at www.createhealth.org. They are based in Harley Street, London. It was the most amazing experience and I got a dvd of the whole event. Something that reduces me to tears, and makes my son blush to high heaven, to this day I also got two really clear pictures of my baby son, which are framed and by my bed. My most precious posessions. I also got two really clear pictures of my baby son, which are framed and by my bed. My most precious posessions.
Professor Campbell carried out the scan. He has done thousands of these over his career but he made it so special and as if my baby was the most amazing, special little person he had ever seen.
I am not sure what the costs would be now as I had this coming on 11 years ago now. I cant recommend them enough though. I wish you well with your pregnancy OP.The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.0

Just for info, they do the weight charts, growth charts etc as it would be unethical for the sonographers to carry out any form of scan on an unborn baby without checking it's well being. Also, sad though it is, if they didn't do these checks and an issue was later discovered they would leave themselves to being sued.
I have worked in one of these scanning centres in the past and unfortunately there have been occasions where issues have been found which have been missed on previous hospital scans.MBNA [STRIKE]£2,029[/STRIKE] £1,145 Virgin [STRIKE]£8,712[/STRIKE] £7,957 Sainsbury [STRIKE]£6,870[/STRIKE] £5,575 M&S [STRIKE]£10,016[/STRIKE] £9,690 Barclaycard [STRIKE]£11,951[/STRIKE] £11,628 CTC [STRIKE]£7,629[/STRIKE] £6,789 Mortgage £[STRIKE]182,828[/STRIKE] £171,670

Thank you Ladies for your help.I will look into all of these.:)
We are up in Tunbridge Wells about the time of her 28th week so this one might be worth investigating.
Julie2710,Sorry i was being a bit flippant, just get frustrated that they use this as a basic selling point of the 4d scanning sell.
I know to my own cost how vital it is to check the well being of the baby during the scan process, unfortunately for my daughter during both my routine nhs scans her problems were missed untill it was to late.
I am looking to book the scan for my eldest daughter as a prezzie.
Having a 4D scan for her/us is just for the wow factor realyIn life try to be nice to others, you never know who you are going to meet on your way down...0

I've had friends who have been to the King's Hill one and were really impressed. Of course none of them actually told me about it until I had had DS or I would have had one :rotfl:0

Musgrove park hospital in Taunton offer 3d/4d scans, they were around £90 iirc. I didn't have one so not sure what you get or whether they are open to non patients but it may be worth asking."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I had one with my last baby and it was amazing - wish I had done them with all the babies tbh.
I actually got a voucher from Groupon! It was about £90 rather than the £200 normal fee and after googling some reviews it all seemed legit and it was.
Have you checked in the baby books they hand out at clinics? Might be a few in there offering a discount package.0

My best friend used this clinic in Colchester, although they have other locations. She got lots of photos, colour and B&W, a DVD and a teddy bear with the sound of the baby's heartbeat inside.
The photo's were amazing and you see so much of the baby's personality.
