Smart Parking "Also trading as Town & City Parking"

Ignore completely or Appeal followed by Popla then ignore ?

A "Parent and Child" were present... No mention of ages !

As I understand these parent and child bays mean nothing anyway.

You could ignore it, but I would be inclined to appeal and take it to popla , I would love to know what they would use to back up their claims of no children being there. Surely they wouldn't suggest that they take images of people using a car park?

" I was surprised to receive a parking charge a company called Smat parking limited, upon re-visiting the site i discoveed that there is no mention anywhere of such company - only Town and city parking as there was no mention of smart parking then, no contract was formed between myself/the driver and smart parking, even if the terms on the signs were valid ( which they are not) "

What's a "vehical"? Why do the remarks say the driver left it? Idiots.

Similar situation myself, in that all signs are TCP, no mention of Smart Parking.

Should be an easy enough appeal to deal with.

'Seen leaving the vehicle without a child' - how does that mean there's a breach of contract then? People can park there to meet/collect a child who may have been shopping with a relative.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • A definition of 'child' is an offspring of a parent.

By that definition I am a 50 year old child of my 70 year old mother.
