In 5 days time we'll all have another £11K to invest in S&S.
Just wondering who do you use as your provider (eg. Fidelity) and what is the majority of your port folio based on?
Are you going for aggressive risky investments for high return, or steady, long term investments?

Cavendish /Fidelity
Average 70/30 equities/bonds.
We have 3 portfolios with different profiles although largely under ISA wraps. 1.) Largest is long term investment not quite aggressive 2.) Smaller, a bit of a play thing, smaller holdings with some riskier stuff in there 3.) Much more stable, again long term as a better haven than cash.
I do monitor another portfolio of low risk income funds/bonds for a relative. Their choice via an IFA and it is interesting seeing that holding its own or though the income taken is a little higher than Hale recommends."If you act like an illiterate man, your learning will never stop... Being uneducated, you have no fear of the future.".....

Sorry Troy ACC/Sebastian Lyons. I always type Trojan into my browser for an instant link to fund prices so it's stuck in my brain :cool:I believe past performance is a good guide to future performance :beer:0 -
Standard Life. Technically a bank but I'm offshore and it's not treated as such.
Being young, whilst cautious, my investments are on the high risk end of spectrum.
I've only just started so we'll see.0 -
