What is the oil capacity for a 2006 1.3i Ford Ka

I have put 4L of Castrol Magnatec 5W-30 oil in my car but it still shows its not full. I dont want to over-fill it. Does anyone know what the oil capacity is for a 2006 1.3i Ford Ka?

It's probably on google somewhere, but you're better off parking the car on a level surface, then adding a small bit at a time (half pint max), let it settle into the sump (give t 30 seconds or so) and then check the dipstick. That way you will only add the right amount.

the reading can be a bit off because the oil has to work its way into the system, can over read or under read. it's best to know what the capacity is, how much you've taken out and how much you need to put in. Then pour in the amount and let the the car sit for a while before turning it on to work the oil through.

haynes manual can be good for capacity info.

Seller didnt have the handbook and we have the Haines manual it doesnt say exactly what the capacity is.
Even on google I couldnt find the exact info.
But thanks to good old Moneysavingexpert I now have the info I need.

Presuming you poured it into the right place and didnt spill too much then more than 4 litres.

500ml between min and max. So below minimum then at least another 500ml.

But top it up slowly and wait a few minutes between filling and checking.
