Getting payment from Seatwave

Options
I recently bought two tickets for a Justin Beiber concert (yes, I know - why?) from Seatwave.com., for my Son. Then, He finds out that he can't go because his boss won't give him time off. So, back to Seatwave.com. Sent them the tickets using their own UPS carrier and their own tracking service. They got the tickets back AND sold them the same day for the event on 8th March at the O2. Then they say that I will have to wait for up to 10 working days for the payment to reach my account.
A few days later they sent an email saying the payment of £105.60 had been processed, so I watched my bank account online, but the payment didn't arrive.
I started to back search on their website and found the payments page which stated that the money was paid by BACS on 14th March, yet it hadn't arrived in my account.
A bit more digging showed that although it was paid by BACS, the account that it went to (they only show the last 4 digits) was not mine.
I have emailed them on numerous occassions, and phoned them twice. They don't answer their emails, and the phone operators claim that they only deal with bookings and are unable to help, other than to send an email on my behalf to the finance dept.
Tried looking for a fax number to have another go at them, but there isn't one available.
I am still £105.60 out of pocket and running out of options. Any ideas?

They will probably have refunded it to a card rather than to an account. Did you pay by credit card, and have you checked that account?

You are quite right. there four series of four digits, the last being displayed. Unfortunately, despite having received my card details, the one they returned payment to is not one of mine.
  • Hi there,

Thank you for your feedback on moneysavingexpert.com

Excellent customer service is very important to us and it is also important to us to make things right when they do go wrong. We regret any inconvenience you have experienced and it’s disappointing to hear when our customers are less than happy.

The payment will usually be issued onto the card you have provided to us when you registered and listed your tickets for sale.

In order to investigate this for you, we would require your personal details such as Name, email address, postal address and a copy of the email you received from us.

It would be great if you could contact us through our website and provide us the copy of the email you received confirming the payment. Once you submitted your request, you will receive a 6 digit ticket number indicating that your request was submitted successfully.

Our priority is to make buying and selling tickets as simple as possible and to support both, buyers and sellers along the way. Please do feel free to come back to us via this forum or alternatively you can reach us on 0207 082 8282 if you have any further questions or queries.

Thanks for the reply. I still haven't had any payment and this was the only written reply from Seatwave that I've had.
As per request, there is a new message via your website, with a new message number of 278221.
Pleased if you can attend to a now well overdue matter.
I have spoken to Customer Service on a number of occassions and each time, I am told that it would be passed to the Finance Dept for resolution, but it appears that is not what happens.
Each Representative repeats exactly the same thing, but we are now at 2nd April (The event was 8th March) and nothing has altered.
    Pleased to hear.
  • Did you ever get your payment, I'm going through the exact same at the moment xxx
