This looks a little to extreme to just be a build up of condensation from short journeys. Definitely looks like a head gasket failure! Bad times,.

Is that taking into account a Manchester United fan living in Birmimgham, the car must be doing really short drives.

I agree...this, and short-journey syndrome [creating condensation inside engine]

Wonder if its something common to Clio Campus or just Clio's in general? I'll have a look at mine in the morning, mine does the shortest journeys ever (1999 just turned 30k and probably does 50 miles a week).

A good long Italian tune up would tell you if there were any problems other than short journeys and condensation.

My son has a Clio Campus 1.1, short journeys between home, work and his girlfriends and has exactly the same thing. Headgasket is fine and he's been told the oil breather pipe is probably blocked.

This was my first thought too, short journey's and a blocked oil breather hose, could easily have this effect.... Especially this time of year.

    Or a dodgy/failed radiator thermostat.
