That would have put me right off I'm afraid. I struggle to make target as it is some days particularly when I was doing shift work. A high target like that, wouldn't strike me as a challenge, more something to feel resentful about. I would probably have tried for a couple of days and then shrugged my shoulders and carried on with the valued opinions/global test market surveys I've been doing for years. A high bar can be self defeating.

I agree - challenging and incentivising is one thing, but making the targets so high that it becomes a day long slog is another, but no matter what we said they couldn't see that. I'm hoping that our protestations have made them see the light. If anyone else still has high targets (these seemed to start towards the end of March) could you post and let us know how you're doing, please.

It's strange they didn't apply it to everyone joining around that time.

I only joined on 23rd March and I get the same targets as all the rest of you (I was not referred).

  • Did a couple of Peanut Labs surveys. One had a constantly refreshing page at the end so I couldn't submit it, one got to the very very last page and, when I submitted it, I got a page saying "Sorry, this offer is now closed."

I raised tickets for them both and they've both been manually credited :)

If anyone has a problem with PL surveys, their support is excellent! Much better than Swagbucks who always just send the standard "Sorry, we can't find your completed survey, bog off."

Had that myself but only while still logged into 'valued opinions' and the PL surey was a research-now one... refreshing page says something about mean-time etc. As long as i remember to log out at valued opinions, the PL reserch-now ones work for me.

I wonder how maximus is getting on with the new baby?
And wasn't someone else due to become a dad soon, or have I imagined that?

Swagbucks UK are supposed to be contacting Crowdflower about this. It would be funny except people are relying on these to get their targets. I don't know how they can manage to break things so often

Apparently they didn't trial this with all new members, and it may be because you were referred that you weren't chosen (you would have been able to compare targets with your referee). We never did get to the bottom of it - Swagbucks were very secretive and aggressive about it when we challenged them
