I was disillusioned with the DY thing as well. At least 5 people signed up from here and posted sub-par revs, it was obvious checking the time, date and usernames that they saw what me and spiritwood were saying to dolphin. But it just goes to prove everyone is a humanitarian when it helps them, and an isolationist when it doesn't. Just like the helpful soul who told the mod we were too chatty. ;)

You're right about the codes - we can trust someone will shout about a MC vid on Facebook anyway.

agreed. it was embarrassing. but they will learn or get chucked off site/earn nothing.

Gobble up everything & not even the common courtesy to ask to be referred & give something back for the heads up. It's not like it cost them owt. So selfish. :(

Regarding the PMing - I've been a regular contributor to this thread since I joined last July and as far as I'm aware there has never been a formal system of PMing everyone about anything. PMs were only used on an individual basis to help others who were struggling. If I remember correctly, fairyclicks did try to start a system (I think earlier this year) but it didn't get off the ground. I hope this clarifies the position.

I think the pertinent word here is 'formal' - what is under discussion at the moment is some kind of formal system. Whether such a system could work or not remains to be seen. It could be that it would work perfectly well, or, on the other hand, it could be unmanageable. What I would hate to see is that people get the wrong impression and stop contributing towards this thread or leave. This thread is for everyone and I really do hope that it will continue to be so.

As for the banter, there always has been banter. This is what made the thread so much fun for everyone. People sometimes did not feel able to join in (and we all have to respect that) and some just enjoyed reading the banter. Perhaps 'banter' is the wrong word to use - 'having fun' maybe more appropriate. I am personally disheartened that anyone would see fit to try to put an end to people having fun on here. Swagbucks has been dire recently and rather than this thread be full of moaning and complaining, surely it's better to be able to have a laugh and a joke about it (and indeed sometimes poke fun at ourselves - my episode with bread immediately springs to mind). The purpose of this thread is to help others enjoy and benefit from Swagbucks, so I would like it to stay that way - helping each other in whatever way we can, sharing successes and failures and having a laugh and a joke along the way. Most of all, let's get back to having a fun time and earning some money.

    Sorry for the long post

I agree with you Paul. But when some just take take take & refuse to give back.....even something that costs them nothing but would benefit another member who after all helped them (as in the DY exodus) then that negates the happy-clappyness massively for me. People banging the report button for stupid reasons adds to frustration.

i did a trialplay offer this morning that said instant credit, but did not show after 5 mins so took a screenshot of the compleated offer then used my page history to take a screenshot of the start of the offer. Since then i have got "There was an error connecting you to Trialpay .... [name of what ever the offer is] on all offers.

I have cleared cache, cookies, flash cookies etc and changed ip, tried different browser, but it's still the same... have i shot myself in the gonads by using the back history and jumping back to a page 5 pages before :(
