as for repeating offers/vids what is wrong with something like using what we have ie :money: or :beer:
personally i think smilies are easier for users to spot then scanning a long thread but make it a bit harder for bots.0 -

Smileys can be used occasionally too.....along with gardening $h1t....weather....etc. Everyday stuff that won't look out of place.
They would poss get changed every month anyway. It could work.
Lurkers would lose out ,but better lurkers lose out than those keeping the thread going miss out on more earnings.
