I/We have been discussing Hump Wednesday as the middle of the week, American slang term but others thought it meant nookie!

Great the nail varnish worked Alfie. Never had to try it myself.

Glad you got your shopping done Katie - too wet to venture far here today.

You've been finding some good pics ILC especially the dolphin ones.

Good afternoon everybody it has just started to rain here but has been dry all morning so not grumbling.

Alfie - glad you managed to get the super glue off your fingers. I remember when it first came out and peeps used to put it on public toilet seats :(

Oddies - looks like you have been really busy.

Wingo - did you manage to get to the park? Has the weather kept fine for you?

Sheils - sorry you have rain. Did you manage to get the ironing done?

Firefly - I have to agree with you I love looking at everyones pictures it really cheaes me up.

Katie - sounds like you have had a busy day as well. It must be nice to be able to walk along the sea front. Hopefully we will manage a walk along tomorrow when we take my Sister home.

As for shopping, I went to look for something nice and came back with a big tub on Ronseal for the fences and some batteries.

I meant to tell you when we went for a walk along the river on Saturday we say a lovely heron.

our favourite :j I like to scoop the potato out & mash with butter, milk s&p then fork the grated cheese in,
stuff it back in the jackets & bake for another 10 mins or so,
then pop under the grill to crisp up
dh likes onions mixed in with his as well

Hi all, hope no one minds me asking a quick question regarding MSE rules.

My DH has written a book and is self-publishing it. He's hoping to run a few competitions/giveaways to promote it.

Am I right in assuming I couldn't post the competitions on MSE as his wife? If I can't then what is the correct way to go about getting them posted here?

Thanks in advance for any help with this :)

Hope everyone one is well and having lots of luck xx

May you all have lots of luck, Emma xx
