what a lovely start to the day sorry you did not win wingobins I used to love a game of bingo many years ago. I have taped all the carpets near the skirting around the living room and dining room ready for painting, hovered and washed the floors and got lunch ready. I must get these comic comps done today or I won't make the post :eek: have a lovely day everyone

I agree Sheils, the drinks were cheaper years ago! When I visited my sis when they were in the army I used to bring lots of bottles back for parties with my friends! Southern comfort was my fave!
Let's hope the weather is good for you again when you go to Lakes

I do like to have a browse around supermarkets fire**fly! I like to see what I'm buying although it would be a lot easier for me if I shopped online! I don't miss morrisons one bit though, I popped in last week and it was so packed with people just stopping in aisles to talk, busy queues at tills and noisy! I saw on Martin Lewis show (I think it was) that before long, everyone will be checking themselves out in supermarket! They will have something as they are going around to pay for the shopping so they don't have to queue at tills! :eek: I think I will do online shopping then!

Good luck with the painting oddies! We still haven't finished any of ours but no point while there's still brick dust in the house!

Might just go to park today with kids while it's warm.

Good morning all - we have had a lovely weekend with beautiful weather. Sister's Son & partner came over yesterday for the day and we had some lovely food out in the garden. It was nice to catch up with them as haven't seen them for a while. The weather is OK today but no sun so we are going to look at the shops and see what bargains we can find.

Firefly - that cocktail looks fabulous. Haven't had one for year. See you were up and about early sorting out your feathered friends.

Indie - hope work goes quickly for you.

Sheils - I see you have booked another bargain to Whitehaven. You do right shopping at Tesco if it is the closest as it certainly has its perks. I quite like Tesco although I must say the only supermarket that I don't like is Asda as the isles are close together and are stacked so high it feels claustrophobic to me. We had our statement from Tesco this week and they have added to 500 points we won so tha'ts sorted.

Wingo - What have you go planned for today? Sorry you didn't win at bingo yesterday but at least it gets you out of the house for a while and you enjoy it that's the main thing. Its like comping winning is just a bonus every now and then.

mum2 - hope you LO is well on the mend.

It is bucketing down here so really jealous of everyones sunshine.
Have decided not to go shopping but to wait until tomorrow as then we can have a walk there as well. Will do the ironing instead.

yes, I do kind of miss going round the shop wingo,
used to like rummaging & getting the fresh stuff from the back,
but must admit all the deliveries I've had since doing online I've never had any carpy
stuff it's been fresh & well in date :j
used to like doing my own paying/scanning at the self service tills as well
hope you get to the park,
it's a lovely day to get out & about :j have fun :j

love to get up early sylv :j
think it's the best part of the day, get cleaned round, sort dinners out,
do daily chores etc then rest of the day is free to do whatever :j
not keen on Asda either, went a few times when we first moved here to the nearest
local one but couldn't take to it or their brands of food much
