wingobins ...my Daughter was so messy I used to hate cleaning her room long hairs everywhere and never known anyone spends so much time in shower but there's light at the end of the tunnel when they leave home you find their house is spotless :rotfl:

Sheils - iluvcats idea of a cruise sounds good for our parents although of course they are usually more expensive. Hope they get back Ok and that they have had a good time.

Well done on the garlic win FF.

Most cruises start with a flight ILC or leave from Southampton and really they only want the sunshine. I always find them a bargain but as dad will be 80 in November and has had heart attacks and new hips the insurance will be really high next year. My mum is 73 but has mild cognitive disorder which means her memory isn't good and she can get confused if hurried. I would rather they stayed in the UK.

Oddies - well done on the win and lovely of you to offer it to your friend and her children. Outings with a family are very expensive these days.

Weather very strange here so have been nipping out to garden when I can for a breath of air and yes ............ the decorating is still ongoing!!! :eek:

However, decided to take decorating easy, do a bit at a time else I get sloppy and I don't like being sloppy with things I do

Must admit, have had issues with wallpaper - and yes sometimes the air was (Alfie) 'Blue'!!!! :rotfl::rotfl:

Puddy is really miffed and has been sulking cos she usually follows me around to see what I'm up to, but she has been banned big time from the room I am decorating (seems to be taking ages!!) due to bucket of wallpaper paste, various tools etc!!!! Not good for a 'very into everything typical norm cat' but she is not amused!!!!!

Gave her a peace offering of some cat nip chocs today which were gratefully received but had to cancel window cleaner when he came cos she really does not like him.......... swears, moans and carries on then hides (such a wimp!!!! ) and he's only doing the outside!!! Thought puddy could only cope with so much so said I would see him next month instead!!!! Am I soft or what? :D

Papering should be finished tomorrow and puddy can then have a nose to her hearts content!!
