DHs Valentino Belgian chocs arrived today although they nearly didn't by the looks of the packet! The jiffy bag was ripped right open. I sent DH the link to enter so half mine anyway.:D They look lovely, only 12 but high quality. Would rather have a few really nice ones than a big box of ordinary ones.
Still bucketing down here. Shame for the couple whose wedding DS2 is going too as they have a big marquee I think. After all the good weather it must be disappointing - expect they have an expensive honeymoon booked though as the groom is from a really rich family.

Puddy is sulking cos I won't let her into the room that I am decorating - paint, wallpaper paste etc etc - not good for furries!!!

Made a mistake of leaving my plumb line in the hall, so puddy has found a new toy to biff around!!! However, she is sulking - gone off on one

ILC - Yes, I try to thank on IWIWIW as much as I can, internet permitting - though it plays up big time! I love to see the wins and how excited the peeps are. Some wonderful wins and even the smaller ones are so lovely to read. Well done to all!!!

Good morning everybody its bucketing down here and has been most of the night.

Sheils - sorry you have had a disturbed night. Such a shame the weather is bad for the wedding. Enjoy the chocs.

Firefly - glad the weather is better for you today so that you can get out in the garden. I find it is much easier to get to the weeds when the ground is damp.

Indie - I see you have better weather too, make sure you make the most of it while you can.

Katie - thanks for the reminder again and have a good time when you go to the club with your friends.

Alfie - nice to hear from you. Do be careful when you are up those ladders doing the decorating.

Must get on as we were late up today and didn't do as much yesterday as we were out all day.

Oh dear, just typed another message and internet went again!!

Just wanted to say that lost a wee chick day before last. Little bald thing - fell out of nest - I get so upset when this happens.

However, the parents are still coming back and feeding the remainder of the chicks so I am so pleased. They work so hard.:)

Fingers crossed the rest of the chicks survive.

Sylvia - oh yes, I am being mega careful now xxx - don't want to go through that experience again! Am pacing myself and taking one step at a time.

Hated being confined as I was last year due to my stupid accident. I certainly learnt my lesson.

Have a lot to catch up on but I like to keep busy and on top of things, else if I am twiddling my thumbs I tend to worry about this and that (in my nature). The busier I am, the better I feel). Love alf xxxx
