Hello everyone, not been on this thread for a while. So glad we booked this weekend to go camping for 3 nights as the weather couldn't have been any better (looking at my tan/sunburn I look like I've been to Spain and not near Stonehenge!). Hope everyone had a great weekend

Also had a competition win, a book, arrive in the post (need to find out where it is from as there is no letter with it).

We've been to beach with kids & dog. Jasper is tired out now, he really enjoyed it. Makes a change having sun on a bank holiday!

Good Morning,

Mist just clearing from the river and the sun shining through - yeah!
Looking forward to our day out. We have one or two things to do at Dumfries - buy birthday cakes, collect sausage rolls etc (DH won one too) and then we are going here for a look around, walk and picnic

Must have been nice going to the beach yesterday wingo. Love the beach but it isn't the same going without kids.

Morning all

Glad you are getting some sunshine at home at last It felt like a very long winter didn't it.

Still waiting for a May win but at least there will be post today-DD will let me know if anything interesting turns up

Nice day on the beach yesterday and cooked stuffed tomatoes, Greek style for tea, lovely. The fruit and veg here are so fresh and actually tasty not like some of the stuff we get in the superrmarkets at home.

Nanny hope the pain is starting to ease - it will go & you'll be better off than before.

Busy day today as we are having our front door & side panel replaced - none of the kids will have keys so they can only come if invited -only DS has a habit of turning up unannounced though.Trying to be clever (and save money) I arranged for our heavy Tesco shop to be delivered today around lunchtime - which is when the door people arrive!! ah well all brains & no common-sense as my mum used to say about me .

At least it's sunny & warm here in Somerset
