You are doing really well euro - are you wanting to lose a lot of weight?
Everything sounds like it is going well for you tornadomanuk. Love it when peeps are having a happy time. Hope you win some lovely baby things!
Nanny I hope you are feeling fitter soon.
Thank you. Not loads. Maybe a stone and a half. But am more concerned with size/abs, so I may weigh more than expected when I reach my goal due to increase in muscle mass. I'm not sure, I've never achieved that 'dream' physique before. Don't get me wrong, don't want to have a bodybuilder's physique, would just love abs like Jillian Michaels! lol :rotfl:
I got quite close last year, but then life got stressful and I comfort ate as I always do. lol Been a bit up and down since then, but the warmer weather has got me all motivated now! Bikini time will soon be here! :rotfl:I use a lot of tools to keep me on track now, FB support group (for the Shred workout DVD), calorie counter app, taking photos each week, measurements etc. Helps me keep focused and motivated.
Wonderful news tornado! Hope the scan goes wonderfully! My OH hails from Somerset
Nanny, I hope you feel better soon! Time is a great healer in these instances. I hope the pain dies down quickly for you xxFebruary wins: Theatre tickets0 -
I entered that crown comp on fb earlier euro, I saw a post from melvis so followed her link and won a 40ml pot of paint! :j my DD who was sat next to me thought I'd won 40 million pots of paint!
Well done on the weight loss too euro :T
Hahaha kids are great! I didn't realize the crown paint comp was back!!! Disappeared for ages and then they announced it was over! So, naturally, I have just entered for today. Didn't win though. Congrats on your win! :j:j:T:T
Thank youFebruary wins: Theatre tickets0 -
Exciting times for you both
I only found out with my third as I had a girl & a boy so wanted to prepare. I was told they're around 65% certain at the time but they're more detain nowadays with 3d scans etc! There's plenty of baby comps around!
Yep, deffo entering anything baby related at the moment. We talked about a 3D scan, but at £70 its something we cant really afford at the moment
Euronorris - I lost alot of weight last year and went from 22stone down to 17 now. It just takes motivation and resist all temptation. I actually did it with slim-fast (Asda/Tesco version - its cheaper). Being a coach driver I was doing very little exercise and eating various pies/pasties. Just cutting down on it all helped me, but I have lapsed a little these past few weeks
I live in a town called Ilminster (soon to be Chard) so your OH might know it0 -

Wow! That's a big achievement there! Well done!:T:T:T
I don't do slim fast. I just try to eat fresh, non processed food. I think they call it eating 'clean', but I suspect that'd be damn near impossible as a coach driver! And I workout most days. I can see how that would be difficult in your job though, so well done for using slim fast and losing so much. I bet you feel good, don't you?
OH has spent a little time all over the place to be honest (he's parents divorced at a young age) - Taunton, Bridgwater, Weston Super Mare.February wins: Theatre tickets0 -

Thanks, yes I do feel much better, and I don't get out of breath going up a flight of stairs. The slim fast was the only way of weight loss while out and about and tbh was a lot cheaper than buying food on-the-go. Pasta is my favorite, but fish and chicken always go down well and now since I won a George Foreman (which arrived last week) I'm looking forward to using that for grilling:T
Now the weather has picked up salads and then BBQ's are the order of the day0 -
That's why summer is amazing. You just want to eat light, summery things. Oh, and ice cream. Obviously.
I've always been on the petite side myself but a little curvier than I'd like of late. I'll probably have to do a bit of exercise to shift that troublesome half stone that comes and goesI never feel like exercising in winter!

Hey everyone. Hope you've all had a good day.
Just chipping in with the chatting about weight, I was an 8 before I had my little one and my shape seems to have changed! I'm still an 8 (okay, probably more an 8-10...depends what store I shop in...!) but now I have curves. I am ashamed to say that I don't really like them because I'm not used to them, and because of the M.E, I can't exercise to reduce them! Hubby wants me to put on more weight but as someone who is recovering from an eating disorder, I struggle with that concept! Anywaaaaaaaay...think I tipped my brain out a little bit there...!
Well done on the weight loss.
Hope you all have a wonderful bank holiday.2019 Wins

I'm on a 'healthy eating plan' right now, trying to lose quite a bit of weight for various reasons and I'm signing up for the gym after payday :O
It's tough not having the nice treats/sweeties that I like, but I really do want to lose weight this time and so I'm trying really hard to keep on track & stay focused on my weight loss goal0 -
