Food art is fab. I love it when you eat out and they serve your food with creativity.


I had a black Forest gateau handmade for me once. I bought a loaf with a fly in it and the bakery gave it me as a goodwill gesture!

Morning all,

Went to be last night and the wind started howling and DS3 started clattering about in the kitchen making a snack! Managed to sleep through it all anyway.
Not looking nice here. DH has offered DD a lift to school in case of showers as we don't want her sitting her first exam soaking wet. She has just been for the Paracetamol as she has a sore throat and head - typical.
Not many days of April left to add to our haul. Hope we get a few more nice prizes before the month ends. We will have the Glamour Comp next month.

Shiels - good luck for you DD's exams. If I remember right wasn't she poorly when she had her last exams, cooking I think?

We have sunshine here but when I put the washing out it was a biting wind.

Off for hair cut and blow at 1 and we both have docs app at 3 for busy day for us in and out.

I had 3 cat visitors, one had a go @ my meow, luckily I managed to get him inside! That vicious cat then chased another before they all came back at different moments!

Great pics about this morning everyone.

DD delivered safely to school - English today and Chemistry on Wednesday. Think it must have been the practical cooking part of her exam you are thinking of Sylvia. They do that earlier on before the written stuff. Her school has messed up and taken a holiday next Tuesday when the Home Economics exam is on. Not a problem for DD but some kids come a long way to school and there won't be school buses on for them.
Nothing exciting in the mail for us, just a letter from DS2s accountant. He is desperate to know how much tax he is due to pay for last year so must get it forwarded to him. Hope he has kept plenty of money back for it. Must get some comps done.
