    Morning all

Times hourly tomorrow for a Champneys pamper break for 2.

    Posted here.

    Thanks Sue! :)

    Afternoon all!

ILC - Well done on the Tassimo win! I try every day but never win lol. Just did the Tyrells one today, and won the race, but nothing came up about a win, so not sure if you can win instantly on that one or not. I've had a dog bowl, but still not won anything on abra ca Debora. I will keep trying! :)

Had a special delivery this morning - the Michael Ball tickets I won on Wednesday morning. Normal post hasn't been delivered yet. I live in hope of a surprise package! hahaha

Hope you're all OK and the weather is better where you are. Rain today. Boooo. Plants needed it though, so shouldn't complain.

    Be lucky! xx

Euro I've been playing the Tyrells field of dreams with it annoyingly pulls silly things out of the ground.

I'll probably get one pack of Costa Americana as F**F predicted. (worth £4.29)

    :hello: Everyone,

I am sad to say that my Tassimo Machine is broken yet again like my last machine did,I was so angry and upset over it,my delivery of Tdiscs came today too.I am not having another replacement machine as I am fighting to get a full refund that I paid Tassimo.

I cant keep getting new machines, they work for a bit then break then sent faulty one back and get another new one,Its like a vicious circle and I dont want to see a pattern of me having machine after machine,They are supposed to last a lifetime but they dont and I told Tassimo careline this, this morning, thankfuly my parents came to see me and they wanted a Tassimo,I was only too happy to make it and put it on and machine gave a loud buzz and I switched it off at mains very quickly as I didnt like the noise it was making, dad said try another and I did only for loud buzzing to happen again.

I then said I wont be trying anymore as its wasting tdiscs and I havent got money to waste,I was really angry.

I then said bye to them, they left and I went out to get my anger down by having a latte in a cafe and I had a free one :)

friend came in and we had a chat and then a walk along the seafront and my anger by then had subsided.

feel really sad but I must be happy as I am seeing my friend really soon for tea.Having refund on delivered tdiscs so havent lost that money, just a case of waiting for hopeful refund of my machine now and wont know until Monday possibly.

Well done on any wins btw :) sorry for this post but feel better for posting it out :)

    love and light,

    Katie xxx

Part of the Furniture I've been Money Tipped!
:j:j:j Just received this email and I'm sure it was in here that I read about it but I can't remember who had asked us to sign the petition :o

We won. We did it - #NicsFight has become #NicsWin! Last night we heard the fantastic news that Friends Life would be paying Nic's family what they're owed.
When my great friend Nic died of cancer in late October, leaving a wife and two young children, he didn't know whether his insurance company Friends Life would ever pay out on the critical illness policy he had arranged with them.
In late December, we handed our petition of more than 60,000 names -- including yours -- to the offices of Friends Life, asking them to meet with the Hughes family and sit down to resolve this case. But they refused, demanding instead that a submission be made to the Financial Ombudsman.
This was a huge task - assembling paperwork, retrieving documents, getting files from doctors - all while Nic's widow should have been free to grieve and spend time with their children. But in their resolute and dignified way, and bolstered by the huge waves of support from signers of our petition on Change.org, the family put their case forward.
It is with enormous joy and relief that they heard yesterday that the Financial Ombudsman had found entirely in their favour, writing:
"I explained to the firm that in my view it should not have cancelled the policy and declined the claim for the reasons it did. [Friends Life] accepts that any non-disclosure was not deliberate or relevant to the claim he later made – so the firm accepts it was not entitled to rely on that and it should have paid the critical illness claim when it was submitted."
This is a fantastic victory! It is also a huge vindication of the campaign and of the family's fight against a massive corporation who felt they could simply be cast aside. The Ombudsman have found entirely in the family's favour, and Friends Life will now be paying out on the policy in full.
The family want to express their enormous thanks to everyone who signed the petition and acted to publicise the campaign. This is a victory for all of us - for the common people who stood up and refused to be trampled on by big corporations. You made sure that Friends Life could not quietly get away with this terrible injustice.
We took on Goliath and won.
Please share this image with your friends on Twitter using #NicsWin. Thank you so much for your incredible support, this couldn't have happened without you.
    Kester
PS. You can read more about the victory in The Guardian and Daily Mail.
