You sound as if you are taking care of yourself Katie which is good to hear.
Love sausage and mash-made me feel hungry.
Well done on your lovely wins everyone- your hairdryer looks super sheils. Have you managed to keep hold of it or has DD claimed it?
Hope you get your reader sorted out Sylvia seems wrong to me that they will not just exchange it as you have not even used it. Maybe one of the consumer sections of the forum could give you some advice.
My £500 National garden vouchers came today all in £10 denominations so I do not need to spend them all at once. Still thrilled to bits about this win.Be Lucky Everyone0 -
Katie - haven't had sausage and mash for a long time, bet it was lovely. Glad you have had a nice day.
Bishopgirl - the vouchers came quickly didn't they. That's good that they came in £10's. You could use some of them as gifts for family or make them last during the year. Unless you have a garden project you want to do. Well done.
Firefly - yes will just have to wait as you say. I got the kobo one as Durham library's are going to be doing ebooks soon.
Hope you all have a lovely evening.
SYLBIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -
Evening everyone.
I've been a bit of a grumposaurus today. I'm helping out a former colleague (research stuff) I had a bit of a thing with last year and it has stirred up old feelings and made me a little sad. I fell properly in love with the guy and he just drifted away. I (foolishly perhaps) have offered to help him on his latest short film after he asked if I'd be interested in the work.
What is a girl to do? Grump grump grump.
Just one of those days you want to curl up and have a little cry I thinkDebt free 6th December 2014

Evening All! Been busy comping like a crazy woman whilst waiting for the removal van to show up this end. Just had a text to say they've just got on the Eurotunnel and won't be here until 9pm! lol Oh well, at least I have a timeframe now.
Elle - Sorry to hear that. It can be hard with certain exes. Maybe make your excuses and back out of the project? It's not worth it if it's gonna hurt and upset you.
I'm off to drink gallons of tea! xxxFebruary wins: Theatre tickets0 -

Hi everyone,
Seems to have been busy in here. Hope you get the e-reader sorted out quickly Sylvia and well done to BG and FF for getting their prizes.
Shame you didn't get going shopping ILC!
You seem to have had a good day Katie.
Hope all goes well with your belongings euro and hope you aren't too upset about your ex emma.
I have been sending DS2 presents and ordering stuff for DS3. DD keeps changing her mind about what she wants. Will be glad when their birthdays are past. My mother is panicking about their holiday in Tenerife now too. She insists they go away every year and they get in a right state worrying about it.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

It's good that you're keeping yourself busy Katie
Hope you get your furniture on time euro
Been to gym with girls. Getting more worried about DD, she just isn't herself, aching joints, lethargic...just not with it. She's not eating properly either. Her gym coach asked me if she was ok as he noticed too but I can't do anything till all test are back and she has her neuro examination. Maybe she might need another EEG or CT scan. Hopefully it's just 'growing pains' or something up I can't help worrying.
I'm sure your mum will be more relaxed when she gets in the sun Sheils!my mums like a headless chicken when she is going abroad and worries herself silly! Once abroad she hits the bars and bronzes in the sun!
Good luck getting DD's pressieDoesn't she want a hair dryer?
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -
Must be worrying for you wingo. Not eating really doesn't help either does it. My DD isn't a good eater although some days she eats like a horse. I'm sure everything will be fine. She doesn't have exams coming up does she? Mine is starting to worry about hers as they start next week.
I gave DD the hairdryer I won last year - it was worth even more. Peeps must think we are rich when they see the expensive make-up etc she has. lolMar Wins :- £2 GfK Media
