Should this new 'tax' (Internet licence) is justified, surely it would be far more efficient to be collected through the ISP on top of their monthly fee and clearly itemised. But aren't many of Internet users connected through ADSL are already paying a telephone line which is redundant other than to carry the Internet traffic? The cost of this telephone line varies from providers, in the range of one-year up-front £120, or £15/mth. Again should this new 'tax' (Internet licence) is justified, would it be nice first sort out this redundant telephone line rental.0

oh my goodness? what shall we do? jeez, I cannot afford this... I'm going to protest in front of government tomorrow morning first thing... in fact I might go and sleep out tonight with my placard... this is horrible, how are good tax paying families going to pay for this too? it's ridiculous, absolutely crazy. I blame the immigrants, or the prisoners, bet they get it free...
is the response MSE was perhaps hoping for? ;-)0 -
