Hi,

I have Capital one Secured Card for two months now. I'd like to know if is possible to increase the limit or do i have to change a credit card(upgrade to a different one)?

I don't need an increase for now i was just wondering.

Waiting for your responses.

I had one, as far as I am aware, you can't increase the limit. However, use the card responsibly and after 6 months, apply for the classic or progress card.
I have numerous qualifications in Business and Finance, Accountancy, Health and Safety and am now studying Law.

Don't rely on anything I write as it may be wrong!!!

if you want to apply for the classic or the progress you will have to re-apply through the system or you can do it through the phone with an assistant?

Online as you would for a new card but I can only assume they take your conduct with them into account and not just your credit file.

I had the secured card from Feb-Dec last year. Applied for the Progress card in September and was accepted, then shut my Secured card as I wanted my deposit back...applied for Vanquis and Barclaycard Initial in December and was approved for both.
