No they only work on UK accounts as far as am aware but you can get USD ones for US accounts on ebay.

you can get them off ebay.com for face or just less than face value - you need a US address to use them. If you have a US address you can download from that account anywhere in the world. I'll let you fill in the blanks there.

if you have a us account, what would stop you crediting these vouchers to it?

you can only credit £ ones to the UK store, USD to the US store I believe
