I will try to explain
When I click start (windows XP) and then click 'Control Panel' I get 'My Computer' opening.
If I right click 'Control Panel' there are 3 shortcuts and the one at the top in bold text must be pointing at the wrong target.
How can I change the target or get rid of this

when I right click Control Panel, I get, Open or Explore,
what do you get when you hover your mouse over Control Panel?
