I have a self designed website popping up mainly in one part if the UK. This suits me fine, gets me tons of work and works fine. I am on the first page of google.

To get it to pop up in other areas of the UK seems tricky. I have the local google map so this helps me . I also have local links and a freeindex page with reviews that all help.

I have now set up another website in Norwich area offering same stuff but under another name.

As I don't live that way I cant get the google map thing because they send you a card with a code on it to prove you do live there. Any ideas greatly appreciated. My keywords are ok and tags etc but it is not showing as wells as existing site.:mad:

Apart from renting a place in that area (bedsit or virtual office for example) or using a friends house there is no real way of changing the google places map.....they send you the pin code in order to verify you received at that address (as opposed to sending it via email). Furthermore, if you use a fake address for the sole purpose of getting the pin in the right place, sods law states that a customer will write to you at that address and suss you out!!!

Other options may be to advertise in local newsagents and rags as well as on free classifieds boards online for that area. Basically, do as you did for your successful business. Also add those areas you want covering in your pages themselves (i.e. I work in London, Birmingham and Manchester or I work in Chelsea, Mayfair and other rundown areas of London!!). Finally, add those towns/places in your file names (i.e. plumber_in_mayfair_london.html).

Change your keywords and tags to "hot women Uk", "get some action tonight"

and you will have tonnes of traffic lol.
