Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend. Am doing quite well for UU this month, have another one to report:

60: Fcuk Polished Bodywash souffle 300ml - WNBA - this was ok but I prefer shower gels that are more foamy that you can use with a loofah thingy. I mainly used this up as a shaving foam for my legs which it was ok for!
  • Morning all, a couple of UU Champneys hand and nail cream from FB swap, really nice and not greasy and Boots Extracts coca butter body wash. :jA big snow fairy is lined up next:)

Nip and Fab Mango Smoothie Body Butter, 50ml - WBA, love this as it smells divine and the smell lasts! and it doesn't make me itch :D Win :D
I wouldn't buy this size though as it is pointless as it runs out so quick!

  • Afternoon all.

I have been lurking but not posting; I've had very little in the way of UUs and have been a bit busy of late. Currently feeling fairly under the weather o curled up in daybed with laptop and magazines.

I am now up to day 10 of no buying toiletries for 100 days. I walked in to Molton Brown yesterday with my voucher for a free full size shower gel with any purchase - however I didn't want anything to purchase, so have told OH to use it next time he picks something up.

I do have one IN which is non purchased:

Mum & me emollient bath wash 50ml. This was on the freebie board as a free trial, and as my skin has been quite dry and reactive lately I thought I'd give it a try. I have a money off coupon for purchase if I do like it, although it doesn't smell of much to me.

My UUs are fairly slow as I've been using full size products and haven't been doing much pampering. I've cracked out a couple of minis to change things up a bit, but so far this month have:

Queen of shaves coconut shave gel 250ml
Herbal essences uplifting volume conditioner 400ml
Body shop scrub jolly orange Body scrub 200ml
No7 luxurious foaming shower oil 200ml
    Sophyto super skin concentrate 30ml

The shave gel may already have been reported. I plan to use body butters and l'occitane almond oil to shave until my stash is considerably reduced, I'm also trying to break out my epilator with shaver because I'm getting annoyed with shaving again now.

HE conditioner is lovely, have bought before and will buy again, replaced with two miniatures to use up and then Tresemme.

BS body scrub; I didn't like the smell of this very much, and it wasn't nearly scrubby enough for me. I have another four scrubs to use up, but luckily no more of this type. Once my current scrubs are used I'm going to have a go making my!own sugar and sea salt based scrubs, but until then it's on to the BS spa wisdom scrub which I do like and have saved for far too long already.

I liked the No7 foaming shower oil, although I think the smell is an acquired taste. It was lightly moisturising and worked very well for shaving my legs, as well as helping to smooth my arms. I checked out the price of this after I had finished using it (mine was from a Xmas 2011 set and in the old packaging). I don't think I'd pay £10 for it, as I bought it to be a cheaper version of LOccitane almond oil. Now I look at it, I think I'm prepared to pay £7 more for the L'Occitane, but may pick this up if I had a voucher.

Sophyto skin concentrate was a freebie with magazine subscription, which I must have received nearly a year ago. It lasted a very long time as I have been using it at least once per day for 6 months now, and costs around £30. It has been a saviour whilst using up some of my cheap moisturisers, now my skin is far more dry. The smell is very herbal and is not as pleasant as LE super skin concentrate which I plan to buy when others are done. In the meantime I have replaced with BS Vitamin e face oil, bought on a deal last week.

    Afternoon all! Some unanticipated Outs.......

Original Source Mint and walnut super scrub 250ml - GA - WAY too strong for me, it was like putting toothpaste under your eyes, when I bent to do my legs it seemed to waft straight into my face and I had to keep my eyes shut from then on! It also left a chill on my skin, perhaps welcome if it were very hot but it got a bit uncomfortably cold today, so it's going on Freecycle!

Neutrogena Pink grapefruit facial wash 200ml x 2 - UU - Too fragrant for my face, tried to use it as body wash but I've come to realise that ALL grapefruit-scented stuff smells slightly like wee to me so it's been poured down the sink!
