They also have competitions and do money off coupons. To be fair I dont use much from l'oreal until I discovered their sulphate free shampoos.
There is so much choice of the sulphate free available but some are really expensive especially if they are rubbish on your hair. I tried one from the body shop which left my hair so dry and frizzy I struggled to comb it. Ive got on reasonably well with the 'ever' range but like you feel sometimes they seem to weigh my hair down. I find if I was it twice its a little better. If it gets too heavy I sometimes use a clarifying shampoo for the first wash and then the sulphate free - using it this way doesnt irritate my scalp as much and leaves my hair ok for a few weeks.
For the salt method do you just add normal salt to the shampoo?
Thanks, I've signed up to the website, but there don't seem to be any more sulfate free offers going about. I might see if I get anywhere just emailing and asking - it never hurt anyone right?
I can't remember who recommended the salt tip, I think it was sea salt, but I might try both sea and table salts to see if there's a difference. The recommended 5 parts salt to 1 part shampoo  which is why I don't want to do a big bottles worth right now!
I have 2 bottles of shampoo at the moment, and I'll wash with one first, then the other as it seems to help a little. I'm persevering with sulfate free only just now though, but will resort to a clarifying 1st rinse if I can't find something that works!0 -

McCulloch - sorry to hear about your fall - hope you are on the mend and the bruising is now going down

Mine is an indefinite award but it will be reviewed under the switch to personal independence payments. A picture never lies, so a snap of my bruise is good evidence that I do indeed fall as I say I do.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... Hi all. Hope you survived the night if it was windy in your neck of the woods, it was terrible here, we have had a drainpipe blown down and it's bin day today and most peoples rubbish is blowing up and down the street. I've picked a lot up but i don't suppose anyone else will.

Philosophy Eye Hope - this was actually several freebie sachets which I put into one pot so it amounted to quite a lot. I'm not sure I would buy again or not, I have been using eye cream for so many years I don't have a lot of lines so it's hard to say what effect they have, had I not been using them for so long I would be more wrinkled so would probably be able to say whether they worked or not iyswim. Have moved back onto a half used tube of Balance Me Wonder Eye Cream.
I know a few of you use Bare Minerals and I was wondering if anyone has used the overnight treatment (can't remember the exact name) it is a powder in a pot with a brush attached and it comes in various colours, you are supposed to buff it on at night and it helps clear the skin. It is about £40 so quite an investment on the off chance it may work also it seems alien to be putting powder on at night.
Kipling - I really want to try the EH cleansing balm and think it may be a treat purchase in the autumn when I have used up some more of my stash of cleansers.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Been AWOL for a while with general busyness - hope everyone's well. Haven't had many INs except for a couple of magazine freebies and managed to get rid of one of my Lush solid bubble bar wands - my housemate was looking at it and said it smelled nice so I said she should have it! I think she was a little surprised at how much I pressed it upon her but I explained about this challenge and that I have three other reusable bubble bar wands (not to mention other bathing products) in my stash - they are lovely but they last ages which isn't what I want just now!Sealed Pot Challenge Number 1225

September Grocery Challenge £0/£2250 -
Hello ladies. I haven't been around for a couple of weeks as RL was taking up all my time. Work has been really good and we had a wonderfully busy Spring Break programme.
I haven't had a lot of movement on the UU front. Only got through my Jonstons Shower and Shave which I WBA if it was on offer for £1. Also Elemis PCMC which I think is now my HG. My skin has never looked as good and no spots since I started using this two months ago. Will ask for this as my birthday QVC gift :T.
Hope everyone is well as I just won't be able to catch up, just need to jump in here.No buying toiletries Graduated May 2017Decluttered 2016 2469 items, 2017 1580 items :j2018 3060 itemsSealed Pot Challenge No 0380
