I tried the first lot of my John Frieda Full Repair, god it's boring! It's amazing how much I miss a fruity shampoo, I think I'm going to put all my JF stuff on ebay and see what happens, I think I'm definitely a Herbal Essences girl now!
EDIT:
Just back from Tesco and 2 INs, but they are needed as I love Dentyl and this was on 2 for £4.50 when each of these bottles is £4 each! So I decided to try some different ones.....

Hello all,
I'm still here, just been lurking a bit due to being extra busy and away from home with work for more than 2 weeks now.
Lots of UU (and a few Ins too, sadly)
Will have more time at the weekend to sort out a list!
Hugs to all!0 -
Hi all - trying to catch up with the thread as haven't managed to get on here over Easter. Have made it to p7 so far so will read more this evening.
Scrappie - welcome back - glad you are back as we tend to like the same things - always good to compare notes...
McCulloch - sorry to hear about your fall - hope you are on the mend and the bruising is now going down
Catriona - huge congrats - hope you celebrated well...
I have quite a few UUs to report:
Emma H moringa cleansing balm - absolutely love this and WBA but have a 200ml pot in the stash along with a host of other cleansers that I must UU first. Am trying a Botanics cleansing balm but find this a bit too greasy on my hands. Back to C&P as well for a while.
L'Occitane cherry blossom body lotion - adore the smell of this and find it really moisturising - WBA but have other lotions to UU first.
L'Occ cherry blossom shower gel - as above
Lush miranda soap - prefer L'Occ soaps so am making further inroads into my stash of those now...
Thierry Mugler eau de star - pleasant, bought this as it smelt a bit like Clinique Simply on a colleague but didn'yt smell quite the same for me. My quest to find a replacement for Clinique Simply which they discontinued goes on...
Liz Earle skin repair light - use this as my neck cream. prefer the sensitive skin version but this was fine and did the job.
Clinique double face powder matte neutral - have another in the stash. really like this and it is great for my DDs when they have to wear make up in their annual dance show.
Elizabeth Arden red door aura - this was a sample - nothing special. WNBA.0 -
Two more UUs
27 - L'Occitane precious eye balm sample. Lovely.
28 - Dove colour radience conditioner...also lovely.Cookie, I think you're tame. :heart2:

1 UU - LUSH candy mountain bubble bars....ooooh I do like there bubble bars:-) wba
Re: steamcream
I used it as a cleanser too. Love this stuff. Will buy again when I've used a few things up.Cookie, I think you're tame. :heart2:

apparently I had been 'selected' to receive a full sized product. Im not complaining as I like and normally use many of the 'ever' range anyway.
But 3 ins to declare.
Ebay outs - 18
Have a few sales ending in the next few days will declare when goods are posted.
Darn, I missed this sample, I'm registered with L'Oreal but I never seem to get emails, perhaps I'd better check my Junk! I'd be really interested to hear how you get on with it, I've loved the Ever Pure ones I've tried so far but when I read all the different descriptions for what each one is for and also Riche and Strong I think they all sound like my hair, basically unruly!! So I'm a bit stuck as to which would be the best. Please let us know how you find it0 -
Ohh, also meant to say that I popped into Poundland before and they had a Naked hair treatment/mask which claims to be 97% natural, was quite a big pot too - their items are £4 odd in Boots so quite a bargain - don't know what its like but will definitely be giving it a try - its for normal to dry hair x0

I'm currently alternating sulfate free shampoos. One of them leaves my hair a bit heavy, and the other leaves my scalp greasier than your average kebab. Still need to try adding salt to the mix, but I'm waiting to get a small bottle free to mix them in. I'd like to try more products, but I don't want to waste money on a product I wind up trying to use up at an accelerated rate (like I am with the current ones)!
Not sure about other companies but l'oreal-paris.co.uk have a website, whenever they have a new release they offer samples of the product, its usually just sachets. They also have competitions and do money off coupons. To be fair I dont use much from l'oreal until I discovered their sulphate free shampoos.
There is so much choice of the sulphate free available but some are really expensive especially if they are rubbish on your hair. I tried one from the body shop which left my hair so dry and frizzy I struggled to comb it. Ive got on reasonably well with the 'ever' range but like you feel sometimes they seem to weigh my hair down. I find if I was it twice its a little better. If it gets too heavy I sometimes use a clarifying shampoo for the first wash and then the sulphate free - using it this way doesnt irritate my scalp as much and leaves my hair ok for a few weeks.
For the salt method do you just add normal salt to the shampoo? No more buying toiletries0 -

I dont think there is that much difference between them, despite having straight coloured hair (prone to frizz) ive liked the everstrong (green) the best. I find the everpure and ever sleek a little too heavy for my hair. Im hoping the ever riche will tame my frizz though without the heaviness. No more buying toiletries0
