I'm back. Haven't been on here for a while. Stuck myself in the naughty corner after my massive splurge in the Boots January sales. I've bought very little since but not really used up much either. I WILL get round to posting a stash list one of these days!

Than you Kiplingmonkey for starting off this month. I am back, I will use things up and try not to buy things. I listed 5 things on ebay last night and if I get chance I will list a few more today. I do hate ebay as it takes forever to list things but if it means that I can get rid of things then it a means to an end. I have given myself a target of £200 to raise on ebay, I think that it is going to take ages, oh well.

Whoops. Had to go to Wilkinson for a couple of net rods and found myself lingering in the toiletries aisle. Bought a Radox Eastern Spirit bubble bath (as we have run out); Palmolive Bergamot & Verbena Handwash - I just love the way it looks (so a bit unnecessary); 4 disposable razors for 28p; and 100 cotton balls for 55p (both needed). Then went to Asda for food shop and replaced DDs shampoo/conditioner that ran out yesterday plus a new deodorant (mine is about to expire and I can't do without).

So 7 INs but I was really restrained and resisted the urge to buy some of the wonderful products on offer (shampoo/cond was £10 and the rest was £4.83). Don't anticipate anymore INs for the month.

Feeling better already, and I also had a PYNM today and went out with bright pink nails, which was really mood lifting. :-)

Well day 1 and I never moisturised :cool: I suppose there is always tonight, but my toilet has been leaking in the bathroom, so can't even go for a bath to use some stuff up tonight! Must try harder

Counting down the days, any moisturising habit takes a while to establish, but if you log in here regularly, you will want to report progress and you will find yourself establishing a routine. I would say give yourself a bit of extra time to do it if you have a morning bath/shower so that you can't say you don't have time
. This thread is fantastic for motivation and support.

I had hoped to graduate by now but the avalanche of gifts from my friend and threadmate knocked that back. No worries!

I had such a lovely chat with my DD earlier, and we touched on matters of beauty.
My very fine hair, once plentiful, has thinned somewhat in recent years. She memtioned that looking through old photos, she noticed how much the short hair I had many years ago suited me.
So I think I will go shorter again.

Currently my hair is like Richard III's , (a chin length straight bob and dark); with my high forehead, high cheekbones and strong bone structure, there's more than a passing resemblence to him.
It isn't the best look.

Getting shorn will also finally cut out the last of the very dark hair from the Clairol Foam debacle of a couple of years ago (the light brown that turned me and many others black). Hair colourants have lightened it but not as much as the rest.

May we all have a good month, enjoying using up as much as possible and only replacing what's truly required - whilst maintaining an eye for a best buy, of course.
