I have for years used aol & have whenever had to istall aol via a disc never had any problem. I have installed on my computer aol9.0 vr not sure what the vr stands for.
I have taken that same disc to my mums and installed on her laptop on the first time when it loaded and came to the registration part asked for the screenname which was on the disc cover and the password i couldnt find the cover phoned aol signed up by phone to get broadband but i know i should be able to access internet through dial up but the screenname and password they gave me still says incorrect. Its soooooo frustrating talking to them on phone can barely understand what they are saying i have tried several times uninstalling and then reinstalling and when uninstalling it didnt seem to do that properly i am confused and frustrated now is it because i have used 1 single disc to set up 2 accounts is it to do with the installation or because i havnt uninstalled properly could i damage my mums laptop if i keep installing please help me i cant even get another disc locally no one has them i know alot of people have said aol are crap!!!!!!!!!!!

The VR is for vista - if you don't have vista don't use this version0
