Now when a buyer clicks the cotact button on their purchase they are given a list of options as to why they are contacting the seller. If they pick either where is my item or my item is not as described then when they click submit with their question it automatically opens a case.

Bid stacking seems to be a gripe with a lot of sellers as the perceived view is if you see an item you want but there are a lot of bids it can put buyers off even trying to bid thus lowering the end price, im like vfish in as much as i enter my max at the end and if i win fine if i dont than thats ok too.
this happened to me today, then l recieved a message from the buyer saying she didnt really want to open a case and apologised for it but when she clicked on "item not recieved" ebay automatically opened a case, its a bit worrying to be honest

the amount of items I order in an evening and are marked as dispatched first thing the next morning is very suspicious!

Buy from some sellers and you get same day dispatch, paying one day and dispatching the next is very normal. Buy from me at 4pm and you will have it the next day.....how suspicious will you be then?

Our dispatch system generates the barcode for the parcel within seconds if the purchase is made during the day (7am to 4pm) and it will leave that day with one of our two collections. Nothing suspicious about that, just efficient, streamlined and fast.

As I said, I have no doubt many sellers play by the rules. But the amount of times I've bought an item posted second class, that has not turned up for seven days, and when contacted the buyer to be told second class post usually takes 4-7 days as a cover for the fact they took 2-3 days to post it has risen since the automatic 5* came into effect.
