Yep, closest I've ever come to phoning in sick yesterday and today but as a control freak (no one in my classroom unless its unavoidable
) I struggled in, also parents evening next week and have to be prepared:(.
I'm getting on my own nerves now, I have little patience with ill adults including myself it will seem.:D Coughing is driving me nuts and fed up being out of breath with chest.
Okay, whinge over:o
Winge away petal. I myself am at my wits end and thinking of changing bedrooms, even though i've only just managed to get our bedroom right. (fixed a leaking roof, redecorated, new blinds, etc.) Then we get new people move in next door!
Their baby cries all through the night. Dog starts barking, and we are all up for each feed it seems!
Wouldn't mind so much, but when I've got work and Stanley has work, we are all in grumpy moods. Walls are paper thin and it sounds as if the baby is in our house. We wake with a start, each time it starts crying and get ready to rush to it to shove a bottle of milk in its wee gob, but simultaneously remember we don't have a baby! Our babies have long flown the nest!0 -
