Good evening all.
Hugs to logie - hope you get all the rest you need in hospital, at least you won't have the doctors around prodding and poking you
Hugs to Spirallingdown too, hope you're soon feeling better.
Never thought about drinking in relation to infections before, got told off by the doctor for not drinking enough with my bout of pneumonia  Actually, got a good telling off for all sorts with that :rotfl::rotfl:What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

Wow, thanks everyone :A
Visiting time over so DH gone home. Am not on oncology ward as they have no beds and this ward doesn't allow children on
Prob for the best though. During my last admission DS1 got really upset when I couldn't go home with them.
Izzy, totally agree about weekends in hospital being rubbish. Seems ridiculous that everything grinds to a halt. Still I guess i'm only here for the IVs and getting them anyway
TVs here are free thankfully. At old hospital they charged but this hospital only been open a couple of years and free still for now. Car parking £10 so far though
Hopefully you won't have to stay in too long. Make the most of the rest while you have the chance.
There are plenty of friends on here who will keep you entertained and keep your spirits up with their antics especially the night crew. Stay positive

I have fridges and freezers overflowing and stashes of all manner of stuff and yet I am still here working out a £40 shop to use a £5 off voucher.
Will I ever be normal again:eek:The person who never makes a mistake never learns anything.0
