Logie, hope you are back home with your family soon, but make the most of the rest while you are there xx

Free 190g bag Phileas Fogg Totrilla chips at W - thanks to hollyandalice on Grabbit :)

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4545409

Went to get these today - Waitrose customer service is fab :)

6 different flavours, no coupon restrictions regarding per transacion or per customer, so we got all 6 and no other shopping and the staff were lovely. Ones we have tried are very tasty.

    Big sharing bags :)

    Sour cream and onion
    Cheese and jalapeno
    Louisiana smoky BBQ
    Indonesian sweet chilli
    Pesto and roasted peppers
Cheese and New York Deli Relish

SA told us that there was a long offer date - till 30 April - so seemed sensible to pick up a few more mags on the way out.

    Kudos to Waitrose :T:T

 at the car parking. When my OH was in hospital last year, I found out after he got discharged that I could have gotten a pass as he was classed as a long term patient I was gutted. I was spending £3 a day for weeks

This was the same as us with my sister in hospital were there 6 weeks and only got told could have had a cheaper pass after we left:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: Spent a bloomin fortune.

Oh logie I'm sorry you have had to stay in hospital. It's so like you to list all the positives though. Try to have a good rest and look forward to your boys coming to see you. You will be out in no time and the antibiotics will make you feel a lot better than you have been. Take care, were here for you when you want a chat xx

Sorry logie when I wrote this I hadn't got to your post where you said children were not allowed on your ward:(. You WILL be home in no time though once the hospital sorts you out and I'm sure you will get lots of cuddles with your boys then. Like you say at least your ds won't get upset this time at leaving your their xx
Cherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

Yes I always have problems with the store.

Sada Thornabronx is great - the staff are so helpful, no trouts and the car park is great for a womble or 2!!!!:j

Same with tesco don't know how much you get or how long it lasts but a lad on the tills told me to ask at bakery for some, he said its either free or pennies.

Because fresh yeast is live, they can only give it way, they're not allowed to sell it

The car parks here are owned by the council rather than hospital managed. Staff have to pay daily too or can opt to pay direct from their wages as part of 'salary sacrifice'

Staff parking at hospitals is horrendous. If I am stupid enough to want to drive to my new city centre location, it will cost me £10 A DAY :eek::eek:

Hope you're on the mend soon. You know that you're in the right place so make the most of the rest, peace and quiet while you can :j
