Difflam mouthwash is fab for sore mouth bubbs if you can get some. It's what I had the other week. Hope it improves soon, it can make you really miserable :A♥ Worrying does not empty tomorrow of it's troubles.... it empties today of it's strength ♥0 -
Wow, thanks everyone :A
Visiting time over so DH gone home. Am not on oncology ward as they have no beds and this ward doesn't allow children on
Prob for the best though. During my last admission DS1 got really upset when I couldn't go home with them.
Izzy, totally agree about weekends in hospital being rubbish. Seems ridiculous that everything grinds to a halt. Still I guess i'm only here for the IVs and getting them anyway
TVs here are free thankfully. At old hospital they charged but this hospital only been open a couple of years and free still for now. Car parking £10 so far though
Would it be cheaper to buy a weekly ticket even though you ARE NOT going to be there that long, my dad was ill mum was paying a fortune they told her after 2 weeks :mad:she could have bought a weekly and it was 1/4 of the priceSealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance:0 -

Carparking is expensive. Do they do a weekly rate. I know you don't want to be in for long but at ours the weekly rate is not much more than £10 anyway and if you have already paid out will back date the weekly pass taking into account the money already paid out. Sure your oh is in a bit of a tizz at the moment but might be reference to this on the hospitals website.

Well still had fever when I got to the hospital and bloods show neutrophils are unrecordable so have been admitted and started on IV antibiotics
Plus points; I now have side room with mobile phone signal, decent view from my window and full control of the TV remoteWill try and get plenty of rest and will hopefully escape in a couple of days
You guys will be my entertainment more than ever :A Not even got the boys to keep me occupied
((hugs)) to you Logie, like everyone else has said, rest up and you will be up and about before you know it. Shame the kids can't come in and see you, but sometimes it is for the best, if they get upset. Take care and enjoy your resting.0 -

Oh logie I'm sorry you have had to stay in hospital. It's so like you to list all the positives though. Try to have a good rest and look forward to your boys coming to see you. You will be out in no time and the antibiotics will make you feel a lot better than you have been. Take care, were here for you when you want a chat xxCherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.
No matter how you feel, get up, dress up & never give up.0 -

 at the car parking. When my OH was in hospital last year, I found out after he got discharged that I could have gotten a pass as he was classed as a long term patient I was gutted. I was spending £3 a day for weeks :eek:0
