I'm REALLY struggling with this one - I can't get my head around the 3 4 £6 in A against 2 4 £4 in S - it seems I need to by a minimum of 6 items to get the best result (or am I as daft as my DH thinks!). I would like to get some facial cleansing wash and some face wipes - do you reckon a mixture of exfoliating wipes, moist. facial wipes, moist. facial wash and refreshing wash would work ? None of those appear as an Asda multibuy but all are on a Sains. multibuy when I look at msm.
I would test this out later if its in with a good chance.

6 Simple items in the offer should work fine and if it is Simple stuff you want then it is the best combo. These are not showing on either A.com nor msm so should not pick up the 3 for £6 offer - my first shop had 4 Simple items and all compared full price. I say "should" because nothing is ever certain on these things, but I think it is extremely likely to be good to go.

Think you would pay £4.80 for the 6, ie 80p each?

    6 x £3 + £18.00 vs £12.00 at S, less 10% = £10.80.
    £18 less £10.80 = APG £7.20, but only actually paid £12

All assuming still going throughh the tills at 3 for £6 even though not showing as such online.

    Morning all :)

Be careful this morning re cheese and biscuits.

Collected a sada click order earlier and for me cheese etc has not worked. Not sure if i did something wrong or if it is fixed. Don't want anyone to go and buy lots in case it is fixed.

Still not bad prices and got apg 77p v T :rotfl:

    Details without fillers:

    2 x Jacob's Club Bars Orange (8x22.5g) £2.00 £3.50
    2 x McVitie's Digestives - Milk Chocolate (400g) £2.00 £3.50
    4 x Cathedral City Mature Cheddar (350g) £8.00 £12.00

Don't know if already been answered but the cheese didn't work for someone on a home delivery the other day so it may have to be bought in store only.

  • Good morning :)

Not read back yet so don't know what glitches have been confirmed but some are still working. Heres my shop from 8am this morning

    A v S
    0.12 x ASDA Carrots by Weight (100g) £0.11 £0.10
    0.18 x ASDA Mushrooms by Weight (100g) £0.48 £0.48
    0.15 x ASDA Golden Delicious Apples by Weight (100g) £0.29 £0.29
    1 x Jacob's Club Bars Honeycomb (8 per pack - 181g) £1.59 £1.00
    1 x McVitie's Double Chocolate Digestives (300g) £1.50 £0.67

    1 x Armitage Wild Bird Peanuts for Wild Birds (226g) £1.00 N/A
    1 x Carling (20x440ml) £15.00 £15.00
    1 x Barratt Flumps Mallow Twists £0.10 £0.10
    1 x Quorn Chicken Style Burgers (4 per pack - 252g) £2.00 £1.00
    1 x Quorn Hot Dogs (270g) £2.25 £2.25

    1 x C J Wildlife Table Seed Bag (900g) £2.10 N/A
    1 x Oatly Healthy Oat Dairy Free Milk (1L) £1.39 £1.00

Comparison total (compared products only) £24.71 £21.89

The Club and McVities digestives are part of the same 2 for £2.50 multibuy

Quorn is 2 for £3. Last night I bought 2 of the chicken style burgers (box says Southern Style burgers) and they compared at £2 each against Sainsbobs £1, so for as long as the glitch works these can mixed with anything else in the 2 for £3 to compare at full price (Make sure the full price isn't dearer at your target shop though).

True 6 or 4 Simple (not on MSM) should be fine. My point was that mixing Simple with other items you would be risking the multi being recognised (unless you had 4 Simple).

Results from around midnight shops, APG just now:
    ........
Simple Kind to skin moisturising face wash £3/£2
Simple Kind to skin hydrating light face wash £3/2
    Dove men+ shave gel £4/£2.32
Simple multi picked up in S (£3 each) so potential trigger item (as not on MSM) but need 2 otherwise you would get £3/£3.

    My shop paid £6 for 3, thinks £10/£6.32 = £3.68 difference +10% 36p = £4.04 APG = £1.96 for 3

APG can update at any time (normally 3am ish for main update?) so will need confirming for post update shop glitching.

Could buy 2 shave gels :)
    Chrisv wrote: »

I was looking at this one Anon, they were 2 for £4 in S yesterday, so as you say, buy in 2's if you want Simple products.

Buying one Simple product could be used as a trigger though, for other items in the 3 for £6 offer in A's.

eg. Buy a Simple item, plus 2 x Dove Men+Care Shave Gel Sensitive for £6.

APG would compare £11 to £7.64, giving an APG of £4.12.

Net Cost for these 3 items £1.88.
