    Hi, sorry, dashing out.

You need at least one product that is not showing on A.com/msm as being in the offer - "trigger" - to force the comparison at full price. Evangeline1971 is right, but that "at least one item from the shop" needs to be a Simple product from the list in my earlier post as it is these that are missing from msm. Another example from a shop at lunchtime today

    1 x Garnier Skin Naturals Clean & Soft Complete Cleans... £3.00 £1.75
    2 x Simple Kind to Skin Hydrating Light Moisturiser .. £6.00 £4.00

Don't know if it changed today but Simple products are £3 or 2 for £4 in S so would need 2 to match favourably plus one other item from 3 for £6?

...The meatballs are supposed to be 2 for a £1 in both S and A but it looks like the multibuy isn't showing on the APG.

2 x Fray Bentos Meatballs in Tomato Sauce (380g)£1.78 £1.00
    2 x Fray Bentos Meatballs in Gravy (380g)£1.78 £1.00
    Comparison total£44.02 £25.24....

Thanks for this one Tweets. Meatballs working out at 6p a tin after APG.

Shop from Tuesday night - Spend £10.87, APG £9.03.

I was looking at this one Anon, they were 2 for £4 in S yesterday, so as you say, buy in 2's if you want Simple products.

Buying one Simple product could be used as a trigger though, for other items in the 3 for £6 offer in A's.

eg. Buy a Simple item, plus 2 x Dove Men+Care Shave Gel Sensitive for £6.

APG would compare £11 to £7.64, giving an APG of £4.12.

NetCost for these 3 items £1.88.

I'm definitely not a dinosaur in that respect but I'm not what the marketing people call an "early adopter". Made that mistake when PCs first came out and I spent a fortune continually upgrading to have the latest kit. Only recently acquired a smartphone but don't really use it for much...other than making calls and texts:rotfl:
Artha I don't know where I fit in in your system.

I buy early systems late and make them last as long as possible,. My main computer's a second -hand mac 11 years old but I can still make usefull documents, watch streaming telly, sync my ipod.;)

Kind of glad I don't own a tomtom/ipad/kindle or any other newfangled nonsense etc. I have bought a smartphone now but that's my main concession to the 21st century.:D

1 x Heinz Classic Cream of Chicken Soup (400g)£0.89£0.67 ???
1 x Heinz Classic Cream of Mushroom Soup (400g)£0.89£0.66 ???
    1 x Heinz Classic Scotch Broth (400g)£0.75£0.67 ???
    3 x Heinz Classic Cream of Chicken & Mushroom Soup (40...£2.25£2.00 ???

Can someone check the totals on the Heinz soups for me (have to leave now) - is it still £4.89 vs £4.00? (Actual charge in A £3.89?)

    Good late night now!:):wave::wave:

    The Heinz soups are 89p each, 5 for £3 in A's. 6 for £4 in S's.
It looks as if APG is using the old offer of 4 for £3 at A's, comparing £4.78 to £4, giving an APG of £1.18. Net Cost £2.71 for 6 soups.

i just want to say a huge thank you to trulymadly. :a
for some reason thank you doesn't seem enough for what you've done, i had been having a very emotionally and physically demanding day, i felt really bad and knew i'd be going home on my 2 hr break to spend that time tidying up the mess the beast had made :( then trying to tire them out again before i had to leave them to do youth group.
I'd got home in time for the postie to arrive and he had your parcel, it just made me feel so much better knowing that someone had thought of me :t. So thank you for cheering me up xx

on that note i'll say goodnight, i'll catch up at some stage on friday
    night, night.
