:eek:thanks david :( I thought you knew me better than that! I wouldn't and can't be bothered getting involved. I totally agree with you. I mistakenly answered a post by PERKY yesterday, I wasn't paying attention and genuinely thought I was answering Perkypam.

Does anyone know why Sainsbees is so hard to detect glitches in then, is it avoided because you need a £20 minimum spend.. or is it because they dont use MSM as a comparrison like Adsa does, so locating errors with Sainsbees relies on wombling and instore trial and error. I have been sat for over an hour again clicking things into the online basket, and its all adding up as it should be :( Blergh!

Adsa and Tosco are the stores of choice, has it always been like this?

Many moons ago many of us did most of our shopping at tesco because they always seemed to have glitches - the more people you have looking for them the easier it is. At that time many thought that Asda was pretty accurate and that glitches were few and far between :eek::rotfl::rotfl: Last summer though it started with the wrong comparison of Don Simon and mullers and that gets people interested to find out what else is wrong with APG.

A's seems to be flavour of the month just now, I still think there are glitches at T's that go unnoticed because many are preoccupied with finding flaws in the APG :D:cool:

Yeah, we have Sains. Melon Slices at £2.00 on MSM - but it's 450g. A's version is 400g, so it is outside of the 10% weight difference and should therefore return N/A vs S. 450-45 = 405. 400+40 = 440. (Either way you look at it.) I think that's how the reference to S crept into my M list. It may have been correct all along, but I am deciding to err on the side of caution now.

Is this online shopping or is it the BM scheme? I first thought you meant the BM, with £20, I think the BM probably because you have to wait till the following day till you can see it. That's not to say there are never any errors in pricing on BM (as opposed to items that return N/A) - once, when I flipped over the comparison to the other store (the one I wasn't comparing with) one of the products came up as much higher priced at the competitor than it really was - that competitor was actually cheaper on that item: but none of it affected my result as the rival I was comparing versus was even cheaper still:T. (This sort of information, which doesn't really assist or hinder us, doesn't usually get reported by me on here although I do use it 'behind the scenes' in helping make my lists more accurate and reflect what is actually happening on the schemes, where that becomes known to me.)

On this, I need to give an apology for an error creeping into my Avs M list, on the Melon Slices which suggested they were non-comparable to Sains. when in fact Sains. is double the cost. In fact, let me just check that... It may be that Sains. is outside the 10% weight range limit but MSM shows prices where competitors are up to or below 50% weight difference (did you know that?).

Online shopping errors do occur occasionally - and have happened with Sains. It's just they are (or seem) so rare and hard to find (I've never found one... but then again I haven't spent much of my time in that area, so I'm unlikely to have found anything. Good luck and thanks for your work on our behalf).

Thanks for your reply, I love your lists and use them to shape shops, so thank you, they are really appreciated. I think you answered my question by pointing out the delay in getting to see the price comparrison, if there is a glitch on multibuys, we may not even see it until its too late. They obviously minimized ways of paying out more via the BM system this way.
    Wishing you all good luck!
