Actually not a bad day at all.
Woke in a terrible panic - must have been having worry dreams about the kids. They have all got very significant weeks ahead of them (eldest moving flats, settling into new job, having plumbing problems with current flat, middle one has just started re-doing a very intensive 8 week course, very physically demanding one and the youngest is camping and walking in the lakes but has a days interview next Wednesday)
But then they are all adults, all very level headed and full of common sense ,have good health, money, jobs and a roof over their heads and me worrying about them wont make a scrap of difference to what happens in their lives over the next few weeks.
So instead we had a day concerntrating on ourselves. Firstly went to starbucks for a few coffee :T, then to the building society to sort out this years ISA :T then to Boots where the Esteee Lauder lady did a skin make over for me and gave me a free double wear sample to take home :T Then to Tesco where I had the usual problems with finest MOCs but they went through as none scans. I went to CS afterwards though as I' d bought 2 meal deals but only one discount came off. Eventually figured out that one item was wrong so I had one meal refunded and £18 back onto my card so I think somewhere along the line Im in profit :Tand then to sada for the sheba, shop did not quite go to plan but the cats are very happy and I still have a nice APG for the next shop :T And its slightly warmed today and it might be nice enough to venture into the garden tommorow :T“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
