3Dogs your plans for your mums send off sound good, hopefully you'll decide on a suitable song for her entrance without too much difficulty.
I got DS to pick music for DH's funeral, he decided he wanted to pick the music for the coffin being lowered into the ground. He picked 'The imperial march' from Star Wars (you know 'dun dun duda, dun dun duda'):rotfl::eek: he had everyone in wrinkles but we did get some disapproving looks from a few. Everyone who knew us well knew the two of them spent hours watching StarWars and it's many spin offs so quite fitting and nice to see so many people laughing.
Well I've just been informed that there's nothing for breakfast (bad mummy) so according to him he'll take a McDonalds one! He's just made himself a big glass of strawberry milk and gave the dogs the last of the bread so I couldn't make him eggs and toast, something makes me think this is planned :rotfl: I don't mind it's not often he has junk food for breakfast but he'll be getting the eggs for lunch or dinner
Oh SD that tune made me smile. So good to see you posting:)To do is to be. Rousseau

Hi all
Just caught up after finishing off the stock take at my shop (why do I call it MY shop?).
Anyway, I rode my bike home last night and now I'm realising that I need to get a ladies saddle! That'll probably cost more than the bike did!

Might have missed it but how did DS get on at the dentist?
Hope all was ok:)
Aww thanks for asking TM. The dentist had to order some wire to splint the front tooth to the strong teeth at either side of it. Was supposed to go back for it doing same day but wire didn't arrive. Went back yesterday and dentist did the splint and told us the tooth will probably die. Ds on soft food diet so any ideas greatly appreciated (ds doesn't like eggs or veg) and we go back in a week. I'm upset but compared to the problems of some on here it's really minor. I don't understand why the dentist told us it will prob die as I've google it and plenty of people who had wobbly teeth have had them reset as did Dh. He really wiped out any hope i have of the tooth being ok. He told us he had a loose tooth that died after 2 weeks but didn't say how many people he had treated with loose teeth and their stats. I don't think the dentist was very old so i hope he just said that on his own experience iykwim. Thanks again x

Fab week away, skimmed a bit of the new thread but now a week behind and not going to attempt to catch up
No idea about pp/comparison anywhere else, but the Finest Beef mince is £4 per kg if bought from the meat counter(£8 per kg if bought pre-packed ), so worth stocking up for the freezer with the Finest moc.

Also, single Activia yogs 32p each in T so good to add as fillers in A vs T shop.
Lovely to see you back RN.
Thanks for the heads up on the mince. Ill be buying some tomorrow.
You didn't miss much. Cheap vodka which was over in a flash and Sheba cat food which seems to change everyday:)To do is to be. Rousseau
