    Viking - Nectar points

I emailled customer service and I've just had this reply, I have just highlighted a small section that could cause some disagreement, hope this is useful to the many others out there in the same position:):

    Dear A,

Thank you for your e-mail, I'm sorry to hear about the problems with this order.

I'm afraid that it is taking longer than normal for these points to be processed due to the offer being a lot more popular than we expected. The points are being processed at the moment and as long as you are eligible for the offer and met all the requirements the points should be on your Nectar balance by the end of next week at the latest.

I hope this helps, please let me know if you have any further questions.

    Kind regards,
    Daniel Key

What's the email adress for viking customer service please. I replied to the 5000 points email I got from them asking where my points are but it keeps coming back to me :(

Hi Does all this chat with Viking mean we won't get the points then as we didn't get the offer direct from them or Nectar ?

I'm assuming from my contact with them today that is sadly the case. The fiends.

If Viking don't pay the points out and u paid by PayPal just put a dispute in, you may win, a lot do! You may not but at the end the day viking will have a lot more work on there hands for little effort from me/us

    Hmmm <strokes chin>
Half of me thinks go on Mildred do it, the other half thinks oh just leave it and move on to the next glitch

As an aside, Viking (ie Office Depot) emails include this little gem:

Delivering Winning Solutions that Inspire Worklife™

This is most irritating and makes me want to travel to their HO and have a poo on the Chief Exec's desk. I won't though - Leicester's a bit far, I'd have to make a day of it :)

Wd love to give them but I can't as not allowed here. I believe there is a codey place here but I got them off darkside simple search does it :D

    This made me chuckle :D

    Afternoon all:A

Just popping my head round to say hello:wave:

Both kids just gone out to a gig. 2 hour drive to see Bring me the Horizon, not really my sort of music.

Hate it when my DD has to drive along way, wont settle till she texts me she is there.

    Hope everyone is keeping well.

  • squillion, are you saying that to get the cashback from caesars bingo i should not have withdrawn my winnings straight away?mine has tracked at zero and wondered if this was why.tia

Nope - thanks! - you have probably just confirmed that I am barking up the wrong tree.

I have £20 in (ahem) 'a' gambling or bingo account(s) that I had to wait 30 days for until the bonus dropped off before I could withdraw the stake.

Obviously not Caesars so which one was it?

    Hmmm :D

mine originally tracked at £40.40 then went confirmed so I withdrew my winnings

a week later it went to tracked at zero so I raised a claim and this morning its gone back to £40.40 confirmed

no idea whats going on but might be worth you submitting a missing cashback claim
