hey all, hope everyone having a lovely day with the sun shining.
last night i found finest gammon £9.99kg no sticker of half price but in with half price ones, hoping for dtd!!!
but they totaly refused saying altho weight description is the same its not the 1 in promo, can i complain 2 c-serv?whats the general outcome ?many thanks xx
To answer the 2nd part: outcome WILL be in your favour.
If at first you don't succeed etc...don't take no for an answer.
On the 1st phone call if you're not getting a positive, ask to speak to a senior mgr.
If still no joy, end the call but phone back straight away and start all over again.
Actually CS do generally take your word for it on DTD, so no need to start mentioning Trading Standards etc.0 -

They weren't so keen to help me the other day on the phone
Email was sent after that!...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

Email just in from Viking:
I have been advised the following information from the team that deal with Nectar queries.
So long as you personally received the code by a brochure or email to your address, then you will be eligible for the points - direct delivery items are fine.
If you have picked the code up from a forum, or if a friend has sent the code, then you won't be eligible for points.
Nectar will only release points to eligible customers, this is taking extra time than usual due to the high interest.0 -

Viking: I'm sorry but Nectar will not validate any of the direct delivery orders.
Viking: Can you send me the link with this on? Is it a Viking link or from a forum?
Viking: If you send this to me I'll pass it on to the Nectar team and ask them about it for you?
Mildred: It's a copy of the viking email. It's clear from that email that the exclusion of direct delivery items relates to pick your delivery day, as these items come directly from the manufacturer/supplier therefore it makes sense for Viking to exclude as they cannot guarantee a delivery date.
Viking: I will be forwarding our nectar team to look at this - as I have advised I am unable to add any points for you as I don't have the facility to do so. They will need to sort this out for me.
Mildred: I look forward to hearing from them - how and when will this happen please?
Viking: I will most probably hear from them and then get back to you, I will keep you updated throughout the day.
Thanks to Chrisv and floflo for the above info while I was chatting with them. Will update if I hear anything
It was all Chris hun, I was just chipping in with my nosey beak.
Hope they sort it for you.0 -

Mortgage started June 2015 = £170,000 January 2022 = £134,000
Saving for Xmas 2022= . . Amazon £55
