When I was in Reading today outside the Toys R Us (mainly checking in on Quidco), I noticed the sign by G4 Parking made it clear they were not responsible for the upkeep of the car-park surface they only 'manage' the flow of vehicles.
Which got me thinking, if a pot-hole formed in the car-park and damaged a vehicle, if a car park management company hasn't got that 'clause' on the signage, could they be held up to paying for the damage caused by not-maintaining the car-park [as you would expect a car-park management company to do, manage the car-park]. Might be good for a laugh.
(Also an interesting thing I noticed, "free for 2 hours", but if you want to buy parking for 2-24 hours you can do so for £7 via the RingGo system, however G4 try and charge £80 for that privilege, won't be going near court for a while, landowner damages would be limited to £7 if you overstay :rotfl:)
(Sorry, I'm bored)
