If you've got an URCA with the Halifax, congratulations! They failed to notify people when the fee went from £12.50 to £15 about 2 years ago, so they're refunding the £2.50 difference for the last 21 months.
Don't know if it applies to everyone, or if only certain people weren't notified, but we shall see...
Spoke to a rep, they say they're doing it in batches, and the payments will be made automatically about 60 days after the letters come out

Yes as its only being paid to those people that were not told about the fee increase.Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both. :cool:0 -

Free money is they give you £2.50 for nothing.
As it is you've paid them £2.50, they 'made' the interest and you've been hit by inflation over 21 months, so in fact you've lost a few pence and they've profited by the time you get free money of £2.50 back again...

I remember them writting to usDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0
