Is there a manual for a GoTab 6 inch Android 4.0 Tablet with Google Play and 4GB Storage. I have just bought one and someone is helping me through the early stages, but being an old buffer that has only ever used windows, I now need to get my head round something different.
You might shout at me and say "it's easy". It may well be, but if I had something to read other than the enclosed leaflet, I might pick it up quicker.
Maybe you know of a forum where these are discussed.

Strangely enough, I couldn't understand why I hadn't googled, so did so for "beginners guide to android tablets", and have enought to keep me going thanks, but thanks for yours.
I'm quite pleased really because never having used a tablet before, I have leant quite a bit in a short time. One thing I have done, is to learn that I needed to download an app for bbc iplayer which I have done, and tested it with last nights eastenders and it ran smoothly.
If I find myself on an app that requires payment, do they warn you and give you the chance to opt out?.
Something else which I am curious about. Were I to be travelling on a train with no internet connection, would the tablet be able of use or would there be a blank screen/This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Hello,
Yes you could use your tablet on the train, so games you may have, or films / music you may have previously downloaded. however anything that needed an internet connection, like the BBC iplayer would not work.
And yes, if you click on something that requires payment it will ask you if you want to proceed.
Hope this helps

Whether there is or isn't, it might be useful to include tips for android devices here.
For example, via your laptop/pc, it's worth browsing through the apps that are available and if there is anything you fancy, it is easier to access all the information in a larger format, then through the pewer of modern technology, you can install from your laptop and it somehow arrives on your tablet/ phone. This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
