how to cover a cracked bathroom tile

Had our bathrom all white tiled--however after installing the showerscreen we have found that one tile has a small hairline crack whcih you can see.

Rather than go to the trouble to replace the Tile ,has anyone any ideas or tips on how to "cover" this little crack?

With thanks/St

  • I would change the tile,as you have fitted the shower screen. This tile will eventualy have water ingress and the and this will effect adjacent tiles in the long term. change it now while the grout is the same.

thanks for your tip,you are right and even more so it was our builder who installed the tiles and new bathroom suite---I will call him Monday morning.
I only thought a simple cover up could work.
  • Did you drill the hole with a hammer drill. If you did this would cause the tile to crack.Use a drill with the hammer action off.
