The DVLA got back to me, ignored the part where I mentioned that they hadn't given a POPLA code in my rejection letter but confirmed that the company are on the BPA AOS list...!
Looks like they don't really care or hold any responsibility after all...I shall await the further threats that follow...0 -
I would go to popla then - enquiries@popla.org.uk - disappointed that the dvla is not at least some action of non compliance. Still leave it up to youWhen posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

If they have rejected an appeal and have not given you a POPLA code then just wait until 35 days have gone by from when they 'would have' got your appeal (if by post then that's assumed as 2 working days after you posted it, if 1st class post, so allow enough time to elapse). Then you can write back and say summat like:
'Dear scammersRUs,
Take Notice that you have breached the BPA Code of Practice as you HAD TO give me a POPLA code within 35 days of receipt of my appeal, if you reject it.
Clearly you haven't done so - so it's clearly now deemed 'appeal accepted' because there is no comeback for you now, you've missed your deadline.
Be advised that any further contact from you or your agents/debt collector, in ANY format, will be considered harassment - except just to reply to confirm that you have of course cancelled the fake PCN.
You are out of time to even think about sending me a POPLA code so don't waste your time with that. Anything other than confirmation of cancellation of this fake PCN will be reported to the BPA and DVLA immediately, as well as sent in a complaint to the Office of Fair Trading and my local Trading Standards Office, as well as full details and copies of your threatening letters being sent to your client in that car park, who I am sure will be interested to read about your breaches.
better luck with your next victim
