Hi, My son has just received his forms. He receives the money into his own account but gave the DWP authority to speak to me on the phone if needed. He's 17 and has Asperger's and finds talking on the phone extremely difficult.
His DLA award runs out on 10/08/2013 and his last payment date before that is 07/08/2013. Would this be his final payment if his renewal isn't successful or would it be the july payment?
Also the DWP said I could still fill in his forms for him as long as he reads and signs the forms. I didn't think to ask how I should word the forms. Should it be written as if it was my son writing it or as myself writing about him?
I hope that makes sense and thanks for any help.

He will be paid up until the 10th August if he is unsuccessful, so would get payment for that few days.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.
I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

HI
Write the forms either way. You can use his words and then he signs the declaration himself or you can fill in the bit at the front which says you are signing/filling them in for him.The Cabbage

A friends son was in the same position, fill the forms out for him. Make sure you explain what the forms and you've put mean, get him to sign.
My friends son, who now has his own business, lost HRM and HRC, but as he actually runs his own business, is doing well now.0
