hi,can anyone tell me if you can clain carrers allowance while getting sick pay?

Nobody can claim CA, unless the person they care for, gets medium or high rate care componant on DLANever do things tomorow when you can do them today.0

Payment of CA would depend on what you're currently receiving. Some benefits are overlapping so you couldn't get both IB and Carers Allowance but would have underlying entitlement which would mean an additional premium included in the amount the law says you need to live on.
Be careful though as if you're actually paid CA and your dad's getting already getting additional severe disability premium in his means tested benefits then he would lose this. However if you get underlying entitlement so CA is not actually paid then your dad wouldn't lose his sdpI'll get you, my pretty, and your little dog too!0
