Hi i am new here and have been reading the forums on disability and seen some great advice from lovely caring people
what i wish to know please is i have been placed in the support group for esa i don't know the time frame and don't want to ring up and ask as i get nervous on the telephone if at the end of time when i have to renew it do i just copy and paste the old esa50 form? it seems a waste of time and government funds for people with conditions which will not improve to do this every 3 years or earlier for the rest of their lives?

Also maybe i should put this on another thread but with regards to Dla changing to PIP then if people are in the WRAG group who claim dla, then surely a lot will lose their entitlement in 2015 when the changeover from dla to pip comes about? i know dla is payable for help etc and not for being unable to work bit one is normally same as other to the other?

Regardless of whether your condition is life long or not you will be subject to reviews of your ESA. You can just put the same as previously if things are exactly the same.

DLA as you say is payable whether in work or not and which ESA group someone is in is not entirely relevant to the decision.
