So how much would.you get as a bursary as a student outside london not living with parents?

    What is bank hourly pay?

I know Worthing hospital was currently recruiting student nurses, what exactly does that mean.

Does anyone know the percentage of wage if you go via a local uni and not OU? I'm trying to figure out if I can afford to go direct with a uni or if it's better on a secondment.

Currently I'd get £7719 from a bursary, grant and maintenance loan going via ucas.

Would I still do say 1 shift a week on my ward?

I'm currently on secondment from a foundation trust to a local uni and I get my full HCA wage, although obviously without the unsociable hours enhancements. I don't have to do any shifts for them, but I do some on the bank.

I really think you need to talk to the education/training team at your trust to get exact numbers.

This is something that interests me too. I've been told my training that my ward manager can sponsor me over 4 years but never mentioned what I would get paid I current do 30 hours. I will have a proper chat with my manager next week as I have been thinking of just leaving and going college to do access course and do bank. I am finding a lot of pressure on my ward currently due to lack of staff mainly us hca being stolen for other wards :-(. I have a lot to think about.
